First, I would like to welcome you to LightSideStudios. I hope you enjoy your stay and I hope you learn something while you are hear. Now, you might be asking what have you found? Let me explain.

This all started as LyonsDenFilm.com, a place to keep my friends, family, and anyone else updated on my writing of screenplays. As things moved forward, I found myself wanting to make my own movies. So, LyonDenFilm became the foundation to work on creating a Production company. As I wrote, I read and researched about creating movies. In 2004, my friends and I shot a short fanfilm called The Matrix: Protection of the Key. It was fun, but I found a LOT of miss steps on my part. So with poor plan and no real buget we never finsihed the project. I went back to writing and the drawing board, unsure if I should direct.

The begin of 2005 was a slow year for everything. I began work on a feature script that I had been working on since '97. Early spring I finished my 2nd draft. I sent to be read over and got back a long list of problems. The one thing that was an issue was the evil in the script. The reader really like the idea, but it had no background, no feeling. With the help of a few friends we slowly grew ALL the characters. It was a breath of fresh air for me! So, I took my notes and started writing a backstory. We talked about shooting it as a trailer. Somthing fun to play with one weekend. But I kept writing. What was three pages became four, then ten, next thing I know it's close to thrity pages long. We all talked and I debated, but then decided if we where going to shoot something lets do it right. This is what the current project is... T.B.O.S.

So you maybe asking, What's this got to do with LightSideStudios? EVERYTHING!!

LightSideStudios is the name of my future production company. This website was made so you the veiwers can watch as this small idea becomes something more. As you can tell, we have all ready grown. LyonsDenFilm was about staying true to vision, making the best story and turnning it to the best movie possible. The same still holds true with LightSideStudios. If anything are vision is bigger and stronger. We feel movies should make you feel. After veiwing you should feel something inward and outward. Movies should push you to be something more. Now, not all movies will do this but somehting should stay with you after the movie is over. Something funny that you can remember and may you laugh. A hero that won't stop until the task is finish, no matter what's at stake. A villian that pushes even the viewer over the edge. This is what (I beleive) is missing from a lot of movies today.
